Unlike other Scar Treatments, ScarWork is rarely painful.  I work with the comfort levels of each client.  Clients can notices incremental changes with each treatment.  Treatments are often 1-2 weeks apart depending on the clients scar.  Progressive lasting change can occur during and between each treatment.  Even if the scar is decades old, improvements can happen.

Before and after just 1 Hour of treatment.  A flatter abdominal can be seen with a greater definition

A treatment can last between 1- 1.5 hours.  In the first session a full history will be taken and it is a chance to discuss any symptoms you are having such as such as itching, tightness, pain or reduced mobility.  Your goals are discussed for the outcomes you'd like to achieve. When the treatment begins your comfort and your modesty are always considered so towels and blankets are used where appropriate.  It begins working the superficial layers.   Lumps, gaps, ridges, holes, bumps, knots, and strings in the tissue rapidly smooth out into a three dimensional fascial web.  Scar work often results in large whole body integration shifts along with trauma resolution, and nerve-impaired numbness usually resolves within a session.
