My Background
I have been working in the fitness industry since 1994. Originally training as a fitness instructor and sports therapist at the City of Bath College.
In 2003 I qualified with Body Control Pilates and became deeply committed to the method. I continued with my development and became a master teacher for both studio and matwork. I am a supervising teacher, helping in the qualifying of new teachers as well as teaching on the Pilates for Hypermobility Course,

I am also The Body Control Pilates Associations Council Member for the south.

In 2012 I took on the position of conditioning tutor and module coordinator with Circomedia; an internationally recognised school offering degree courses, one of only two in the UK. I also completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Learning in Higher Education.
Through my love of movement , I discovered Thomas Myers’ Anatomy Trains and I trained as a KMI practitioner (now known as Anatomy Trains Structural Integration) and completed the exam to become Board Certified Structural Integrator. It was around this time I met James Earls and Lucy Wintle. In 2019 we formed Animatum an advanced fitness education company.

This began an interest in Fascia and in 2017 I completed my fascial fitness trainer qualification
I have taught at many of the top health clubs and run a Bristol Partnership studio in Bristol.
